He received his degree as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He is currently Board-Certified in Foot Surgery, by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and has performed numerous joint reconstructive and replacement surgical procedures on the foot.
Dr. Hahn has practiced naturopathic medicine in conjunction with podiatric medicine utilizing nutraceutical, and homeopathic treatments for various medical conditions. He helped formulate several nutraceutical products for nutraceutical manufacturers.
He has certification in advanced injection and radiowave sclerotherapy, and was certified by the American College for the Advancement in Medicine in IV Chelation Therapy. He was an active staff member of the Gresham Station Surgical Center, in Gresham Oregon, Gresham, Oregon. He is a past member of the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Hahn is currently an active member of the OANP, OPMA and the APMA. He has served as a clinical instructor at the Oregon Health Science University and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Portland, Oregon in Podiatry. Dr. Hahn has been trained in VNUS RF radiowave ablation for varicose veins and injection sclerotherapy techniques for spider veins and has performed laser assisted liposuction (Smart Lipo) at the Aesthetic Medicine Physicians and Surgeons Center in Tigard, Oregon. He was trained at the Sonobello Laser Assisted Liposuction Clinic in Bellevue Washington.
Dr. Hahn has lectured to physician groups for Ellman International in the use of radio frequency technology for the removal of benign skin lesions. He was the physician trainer and consultant for Cryosurgical Concepts, in the clinical use of the Cryoprobe. Dr. Hahn served as a professional consultant for Integrative Therapeutics Inc. to develop sales channels for podiatric medicine and other specialties. Dr. Hahn is currently a Medical Advisory Board member for GardaVita.
Dr. Hahn has served in the United States Army IRR, Medical Service Corps.
Dr. Hahn has several published scientific articles in; Podiatry Today, Podiatry Management, Journal of Longevity, Garda Vita Journal, Naturopathy Digest, Naturopathic Doctors News and Review, Integrative Medicine, a Clinician's Journal, The Townsend Letter for Doctors, and was a contributor to the textbook , " Compendium of Podiatric Biomechanics".
He has taught as an adjunct instructor at Pioneer Pacific College and Clackamas Community College, the following courses: Medical Law and Ethics, Billing and Coding for Insurance, Medical Communications, Phlebotomy and Medical Economics and Finance. Dr. Hahn was an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Integrative Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Hahn is currently a speaker and consultant for Hevert Homeopathic a German based company with US headquarters in Colorado.
Dr. Hahn has worked at Aesthetic Medicine Physicians and Surgeons, in Tigard, Oregon, where he performed aesthetic surgical/cryosurgical removal of benign skin lesions, and phlebotomies. Dr. Hahn performed injection sclerotherapy for varicose and spider veins, and endovascular ablation procedures, utilizing the VNUS RF technology. He has been trained in the use of Botox, Juvederm injection therapy. Dr. Hahn provided services to patients at the Gresham Cosmetic Laser Center, in Troutdale, Oregon, Aesthetic Medicine Physicians and Surgeons, Tigard, Oregon and the Forever Young Medical Spa in Tanasbourne, Oregon.
